Toronto led it 5-1 until Philadelphia stormed back with five in the seventh to steal the lead. But in the ninth, with two on and the Jays down a run, Joe Carter caught up to a Mitch Williams slider and sent it over the left-field wall — only the second title-ending home run in World Series history.
