Texas was one strike from its first championship — twice. In the ninth, David Freese tripled to right with two strikes to tie it. In the tenth, Josh Hamilton's two-run homer gave the Rangers the lead back, only for Lance Berkman to single home the tying run with two outs and two strikes. Then, leading off the eleventh, Freese ended it.
